Built by someone who was never off.

For years, the job was making screens louder.

He made video for entertainment venues in more than a hundred locations around the world. Content built to stop people mid-step and hold them there. Bright, fast, designed to be impossible to look away from. He was good at it.

Then he'd go home and do it to himself.

Phone in hand until two. Dinner at midnight. An energy drink to start the day the night had borrowed from. The work ended at six, but the stimulation never did. The room he slept in was another screen with a bed in it.

What he wanted was not a routine, or an app, or one more thing to track. He wanted a switch. A point in the evening where the day actually ended.

So we started building one.

Haven& is a small collection of things for the last hours of the day. Lamps that stay low and warm. Diffusers you can hear from the bed. Clocks that let the phone stay in another room. Objects worth watching that aren't a screen. Everything here passes one test: does it quiet the room, or add to the noise? If it adds, it doesn't make it in.

Nothing here notifies you. That's the point.

We know the irony. The person who spent years making things you can't look away from now sells things that let you look away. We'd call it a correction.
