Cordless Disc Lamp

The light you take with you when the overhead goes off.

A disc of soft light on a slim metal stem, with no cord to plan the room around. Charge it once, then move it wherever the evening ends up: the nightstand, the bath, the table after dinner, the hallway on the way to bed.

Touch the top to switch it on. Hold to dim it down until it is barely there. Three tones run from candle-warm amber to clear white, and the warm end is where it belongs after dark.

At 21cm tall it fits a nightstand that already holds a book and a glass of water.
