Dusk and Dawn Clock

It fades out at night and rises in the morning, so your phone does neither.

A dome of linen-textured light over a dimmable clock. In the evening, start the sunset and the light fades from warm amber to a deep red glow and then to dark. In the morning it runs in reverse: a gradual sunrise ahead of the alarm.

In between, there is a sound machine with ten white noise tracks and twenty natural sounds, a timer from 15 to 180 minutes, sixteen volume steps and twenty brightness levels. The display dims all the way to zero.

Four things that used to live on your phone, now on the nightstand instead.
