The Mini Tesla Coil Plasma Speaker conducts audio signal through high-voltage plasma arcs between the electrodes. The lightning reacts to the music — louder passages produce longer arcs, quiet sections produce a soft hiss of electricity. It works as an actual speaker, with actual plasma, and yes it is safe to run indoors.
